Ishara Casellas Connors, PhD, is an assistant professor at the Bush School of Government & Public Administration, Texas A&M University. Her research examines issues related to racial equity in U.S. higher education policy analysis and practice. She considers these questions across several facets of higher education including, Hispanic Serving Institutions, institutional policy discourse, and displaced learners. She considers the implications of state and institutional policy for advancing racial equity for minoritized students
